Ross Motorclub “Marshals Training Presentation”

Ross Motorclub “Marshals Training Presentation”

In response to his recent communications to Clubs, the MSA’s Training Executive, Alan Page, has written to all Clubs reminding them of the MSA Accreditation Training for Stage Rally and Cross Country Marshals.  Whilst they are pleased that nearly 5,000 people have taken the on-line accreditation process, the MSA want to encourage more, with those who cannot or will not use the on-line system.  Bear in mind that from January 2017, unless a marshal holds an accreditation certificate they won’t be able to marshal alone on a Stage Rally; they must have an accredited marshal alongside them.  The MSA want to encourage more take up, and advises Clubs that a PowerPoint presentation will be available soon.  Ross Club are arranging one of these at our Clubhouse on 17th November to try and encourage more members to do the training.  It is free, of course, and members of Herefordshire Motor Club are cordially invited to attend.  The presentation will start at 8:30pm and last just over an hour.
For those who don’t know, we have our own Clubhouse in Ross.  The address is 25 Kyrle street, Ross, HR9 7DB.  Parking in Ross council car parks is free after 6pm (Kyrle Street, Red Meadow and Edde Cross Street car parks are all within 200m of the clubhouse.”
Thank you,
Simon Harris on behalf of Ross & District Motor Sports Club
